It's because she and I are in it.
Yep, Z and I were featured in Parents magazine's "Dads Hall of Fame" in their June issue, along with a guy-diaper-bag designer, a paternity video production team, the guy who draws on his daughter's lunch bags, a bunch of celebrities, and the President of the United States. We dropped a hint about this to readers about a month ago, but we really had no idea it would be anything like this.
For those of you arriving from the pages of Parents, welcome! We have some great content planned for the week, including a new Sippy Cup Showdown comparing ease of use, leakiness, and value for dozens of makes and models of the ubiquitous sippers, and a look into the chemical claims of a well-regarded kids' suncreen. While you're in the neighborhood, make sure to check out the other blogs in our network, which you can access through that hub site, ZRecs.com, or using the menu bar at the top of your screen. We also have two years of great content in the ZRecs Archives, where we used to blog before moving to our new network late last year. I am here b/c of the article in Parent’s Mag. I was particularly interested in the Sippy Cup Showdown since that is a battle I am losing right now. I also loved the “Paci Fairy” idea - my son is 2 1/2 and I am so ready to get rid of them. I look forward to exploring your site more!
