Jump rope, why do we love thee so? Let me count the ways...
Two-part handles allow rope to spin freely (plastic parts are turning rather than relying on the rope to turn itself, which has more friction)
Chunky handles easier for young users
100% cotton rope - no nylon or other plastics in the rope itself
100% recycled plastic handles
USA made
Really, who knew you could ask so much of something so simple?
Our nearly five-year-old daughter Z is slowly learning how to master this thing. She loves the idea and we have plenty of YouTube videos to inspire her. This sort of activity is right up her alley - physical, intense, and fun!
At $10, this makes a great first jump rope - once a kid starts really tearing it up, you will probably need to move to a lighter-weight rope.
I now have but one request: Please, Green Toys, make double-dutch jump ropes! A long rope turned by two people is the easiest way for a young child to learn to jump rope.
Yea! I was hoping to find something like this for my daughter-we love the Green Toys’ tea set. I agree, they simply must make double dutch robes! Thanks for telling us about this!
