LeapFrog has launched a 1 Million Reading Hours campaign to celebrate and promote National Reading Month. (Hey, you're doing it already!) Actually, this month's push is for you to read to your kids, and all LeapFrog wants you to do is think about how much you'd like to pledge to read to your child this month, then submit it to them and watch the promises pile up. The key to making a good pledge is thinking about how you can fit reading into your busy schedule to make sure you're reading to, or with, your child every day. It's a habit that will stick with them as they grow up and help make them lifelong readers and learners.

To encourage you to make a quick pledge on their website (you can opt out of any further communication from LeapFrog) the company contacted us with a promotion we simply couldn't refuse (because it's so good). Here's how it works:

1. Comment below with the pledge you made on the LeapFrog website, and (our own addition) the name of one book you love reading with or to one of your children, and the child's age.


2. At the end of March, we'll pick a winner at random from the comments, who will win not only a LeapFrog Tag Reading System and five books (LeapFrog's choice) for their family, but also a LeapFrog Tag reader with expanded memory and ten books to donate to their local library. Win/win, as we say in the business! Seriously, when's the last time you got to stroll in and make an awesome donation to your kid's school library or public library? What fun!
