Brennan Donnellan and his kids bought a Banzai Alligator Pool and were surprised to discover that the photo on the box appears to have been populated by some little elves instead of full-sized kids. Rather than just take it back they decided to go all Internet on Banzai and share their disappointment as a cautionary tale. We love it. Check out the video they made:
That is too cute! But really...how misleading is that picture! It’s like when you are 16 and your parents wrap up a Matchbox car as a gift.

The SAME thing happened to us with a water toy that we bought. Since I know Photoshop, I checked back on the package after I was surprised with the small size of the toy and found that the entire picture was photomontage!
these manipulated photos seem to be standard with inflatable pools. I saw a lot of it when were were pool shopping and reading reviews on them. How is this not false advertising?
When you buy a box of cereal it will often have a photo of the food under which it says “photo enlarged to show detail” How come they don’t have to put a disclaimer on toys?

Good for you for sharing this with others! Bravo!!!
Oh that was hilarious. Sad, but funny. I think those kids have a future in blogging or consumer advocacy!
And that little baby pool looked nothing like the box!

Misleading and poor taste, that is my take on it.
That was so funny, I can’t stop laughing! Poor kids, but it does not surprise me coming from Kmart.
