Trebimbi clicks with Lego-inspired utensil set

Trebimbi clicks with Lego-inspired utensil set
The concept: Very cute. The execution: Top-quality. The impact: Real convenience. The perfect travel utensil set (checked luggage, please).

I was surprised to hear that anyone thought they could sell set of kids' utensils for $20 - even Trebimbi, known for quality that costs. Now that I've seen them, I'd buy them.

Available in red, yellow, green, or blue. Design like this in kids' tableware is like a cool breeze on a very hot day.

Sooo cool!  These are the best idea for making a little boy’s dinner fun.  Love it!

2. Rebecca Cross [10/11/08]

I’m interested in what makes them so great/innovative/necessary that you would buy them?  Especially for $20!  Thanks…

3. HeatherK [10/12/08]

I’d be interested to see how these actually fit in a child’s hand.  They seem rather long and the ‘lego’ piece as if it would interfere with grip.  The bowl shape of the spoon is interesting, but is it too large for the toddler set?

4. Cicada [10/12/08]

We have both a large toddler spoon and a smaller one, and my son has an easier time with the large one.  Neither is the Trebimbi set, though.  I agree with HeatherK re: the placement of the “lego” piece.

5. Karen [10/12/08]

Yikes! $20 makes them not so cool to me. I have to agree with Rebecca.

6. Carrie S. [10/13/08]

$20 would be too much for me.  I can buy an entire 12 piece Take And Toss set of 6 forks 6 spoons for $5.

My 2.5 yr old already uses adult forks anyway!

7. Jeremiah [10/13/08]

No, these are NOT toddler utensils - they are closer to adult size. They are really meant for kids who are able to handle proper silverware.

We’ll post more photos and a follow-up on our recommendation tonight!
